Alaska elopement photographer

Good photos, good views, and no “wait, how do we plan this?” spiral

help me plan this

You do not have to rough it to have a wildly good Alaska elopement.

If you're into mountain views from your cabin, rocky beach vows, and helicopter tours to glaciers, you're in the right place.

One big adventure. A cozy place to come back to.

Have your cabin microwedding with the people you love, then take the next day for the two-person stuff.

Go whale watching, take a helicopter out to a glacier, pack the paddle boards, and end the day on a rocky beach with nowhere else you need to be.

You do not have to choose between an intentional day with your people and a wildly good Alaska adventure. There is room for both.

WHAT KIND OF ALASKA DAY ARE YOU DREAMING ABOUT?

helicopter + glaciers

Pick your Alaska adventure.
I’ll help with the logistics.

Cabin microwedding, helicopter-to-glacier morning, whale watching, mountain hikes, or a little bit of all of it. Tell me what sounds good, and I’ll help build an Alaska experience with room to actually enjoy it.

Cabin microwedding

Bring your favorite people to a cozy cabin, get ready slowly, say your vows outside, eat something really good, and end the night with nowhere else you need to be.

A cabin microwedding is personal, relaxed, and gives everyone space to actually hang out instead of rushing from one event to the next.

helicopter + Glaciers

Save one part of the experience just for the two of you. Take a helicopter out to the glacier, soak in the huge views, and have the kind of just-married moment that makes the whole trip feel a little unreal.

Then come back to your people, your cabin, and the rest of the story.

Whale watching

Trade a formal reception for a day on the water. Head out with a whale-watching tour, breathe in the salty air, and keep your eyes open for whatever Alaska decides to show off.

It is a very good option for couples who want an experience together, not just another thing on a wedding-day timeline.

Mountain hikes

You do not need to hike five miles uphill to earn a beautiful view. Choose a trail or mountain moment that fits your group, pack snacks, take your time, and let the scenery do its thing.

Perfect for couples who want to move a little, take in the mountains, and still have energy left to enjoy the rest of the day.

WHAT A MULTI-DAY ALASKA ELOPEMENT CAN ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE

SPOILER: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO IT ALL IN ONE DAY.

Take your time

Slow cabin morning, good coffee, breakfast with your people, and enough room to actually settle into the day.

Getting ready

Get ready at the cabin with your favorite humans nearby. No hotel checkout clock, no rushing through the sweet parts.

First look

Outside the cabin, on the rocky beach, or together while you get ready. Giddy giggles are highly encouraged.

Ceremony

Say your vows with your people, then take the time to hug them, eat something good, and actually enjoy being married.

go have an adventure

Head out whale watching, take the helicopter to a glacier, hike somewhere beautiful, or paddle board if the water is calling. Pick the one that sounds most like you.

END THE DAY SLOWLY

Come back to the cabin, wander down to the beach, change into something cozy, and let the day end without having to sprint toward the next thing.

make it more than one day

Have the cabin microwedding with your people, then save another day for the two-person stuff. More time for the big adventure, the quiet moments, and the whole story.

What I Do

I HELP YOU PLAN IT, LIVE IT, AND REMEMBER IT.

Choosing an Alaska adventure is fun. Figuring out how to make room for your people, one big adventure, and a day that does not feel like you are racing around the state? Less fun to do alone.

From choosing the right cabin home base to building in travel time, photo time, snacks, and weather-flexible options, I help make the moving pieces feel way less overwhelming.

Your only job is to show up, get married, eat the snacks, and actually enjoy the day you planned.

Instead of Googling things like:

— “Which part of Alaska makes sense for us?”
— “Can we have a microwedding and a two-person helicopter day?”
— “How do we fit a whale tour into all of this?”

with me, You’ll have:

Custom Alaska planning with location ideas and a timeline that has room to breathe
Personalized permit direction and help knowing what questions to ask
A day that actually feels cared for, not patched together

HELL YES, HELP ME PLAN THIS

Just A Little Love

"

We would get married all over again just to pick her twice."

Our photos surpassed our greatest expectations, and the little moments that she captured without us noticing have brought many tears to our eyes. Whenever Jamie walked into a room so did a feeling of relief. She knew all of the tricks, the right things to say, and somehow still managed to hold my phone/tissues/lipstick in the process.

Just A Little Love

"

Her quirky personality made working with her an absolute delight."

Jamie gave me so much ease on my day - when I was freaking out about centerpieces or running late, she assured me everything was perfect and rearranged everything to include all the details I wanted while alleviating any stress. And the photos? Absolutely gorgeous. She captured every moment we could have ever wanted and more, even ones she probably didn't need to.

Miranda & Cody

Just A Little Love

"

Not only does she capture moments beautifully, she is genuinely an amazing person."

She took the time to understand our vision + story and provided guidance to bring our day together. We felt completely comfortable and are so thankful to have had Jamie capture our engagement and wedding; we will cherish our photographs for a lifetime.

Alaska ELOPEMENT FAQ

Start Your Elopement Inquiry
Q

CAN WE HAVE A MICROWEDDING AND A TWO-PERSON ADVENTURE?

A

Absolutely. That is kind of the whole point. Have your cabin ceremony and meaningful time with your people, then save another day for the helicopter, whale watching, hiking, or whatever adventure is just for you two.

Q

WHERE SHOULD WE ELOPE IN ALASKA?

A

Start with your home base and the kind of experience you want. Cabin slow mornings, glaciers, mountains, water, wildlife, or a rocky beach at the end of the day. You do not need the exact location figured out before you reach out.

Q

WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK OUR ALASKA ELOPEMENT?

A

Around 8–12 months out is a great sweet spot, especially if you have a specific season, cabin, activity, or guest travel to consider. But if you are working with a shorter timeline, still reach out.

Q

DO WE NEED A PERMIT?

A

Sometimes. It depends on where and how you are getting married. I’ll help you understand what to ask for, while you handle the actual application when one is required.

Q

HOW DO ACTIVITIES LIKE HELICOPTER TOURS OR WHALE WATCHING WORK?

A

You book the experience directly, then save a seat for me so I can come along and document it. I’ll help make sure it fits naturally into the timeline, but you get to choose the adventure that sounds most like you.

The practical questions that usually come up right after “okay, but how do we actually do this?”
