Colorado Elopement locations for couples who want epic views, privacy, and the ability to be outsidey vs totally outdoorsy. My passion is helping my couples find locations that speak to them and this spot in Colorado is truly one of my favorites.

Colorado Elopement Locations: Rocky Mountain National Park

There are a few locations in Rocky Mountain National Park that are super dreamy, and easy to get to.

Before we dive into the national parks I truly want to stress the importance of Leave No Trace, and taking care of our nature.

It’s how we will be able to keep visiting these locations time after time, and long after your vows!

3M Curve: Snow Peaks

I love this spot because it’s truly a blink and you will drive right by. This location is a side street parking, then a very small hike down but with 200 degree views. I highly recommend witnessing it at sunrise as the sun comes over the ridge and across the snow capped peaks.

Bear Lake: Super popular, super SNOWY

One thing about Bear Lake is there are rules for this location for a reason, it can be very dangerous if you’re not familiar with ice & snow and are prepared to hike in it.

Upper Beaver Meadows: More Guests Allowed

Some locations you can have more guests with you, this being one of them! You can be down in the meadow with the Mountains behind you as you say your vows.

Check all of them out, and apply for your permit through RMNP’s website

Also keep in mind that RMNP has a timed permit system. This means permits will go live for certain areas at a certain time of the year. You have to be ready and on it to secure your ceremony permit.
