3M Curve Elopement in RMNP on a gorgeous 60 degree spring day
When you want to elope you’re doing the google thing, trying to see what an actual adventure elopement looks like from fellow humans who have paved the path.
This time it’s featuring Elisa & Vic’s elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park in April of 2025. They truly were a fun couple and I want to show you that you can take every piece of your personality and add it into your elopement.

Ice Skating Night Before – Your Elopement should be spent doing stuff YOU love
Truly this was such a fun way to spend time with their friends, and each other. They recently started ice skating as a date night and thought why not for their elopement.
They rented the rink so they wouldn’t have to worry about anyone else being there and could have the ice to just be themselves fully.
When it comes to picking activities for your elopement you don’t have to overthink it. Pick something that you already do together and you love, or maybe something you’ve been itching to experience. I have a full elopement guide that lists pages of ideas if you’re feeling stuck.
3M Curve Elopement at Sunrise
When you want to elope in RMNP you have to declare a spot you want to use for your ceremony. This lets the park know how many people are with you, when you will be using the spot, and let’s them keep the amount of wedding permits limited so it actually is private, and you feel lost in nature.
I love the 3M curve spot because you get the view of the mountains without a hefty hike. Not all of my couples want to hike, they’re my parking lot princesses and we want the views without an all day thing.
With parking it’s a pull off, so make sure to download your google maps.
Then always follow the leave no trace policies. We want to keep this area beautiful so not only us, but honestly other couples who feel the same way, can experience the magic.
Also it’s good to know that RMNP wedding permits are competitive (and for good reason this park is stunning). You have to be on it and ready to go the month you want your permit the following year otherwise they may already be gone.

Here is the full breakdown of their elopement timeline with me. At first people are surprised that they need so much time, but truly the goal is un-rushed not just “do it for the tiktok”.
Denver, Colorado Day Before:
5:00 pm – Final grocery store run for everything needed
6:00 pm – Meet at ice skating rink
7:00 pm – Have fun skating and being together
8:00 pm – Off to dinner
3M Curve Elopement Day:
4:00 am – Wake up Call
4:30 am – Coffee & Prep
5:30 am – Leave airbnb for 3M Curve
6:00 am – Take in the first light, share private vows
6:30 am – Ceremony with best friends
7:00 am – Celebrate group photo
7:30 am – Couple’s portraits at sunrise
8:00 am – Explore RMNP
10:00 am – Head back to Airbnb
10:30 am – Change, relax, prep lunch together
11:00 am – Details & flatlays
12:00 pm – Mingle, enjoy each other’s company
Break
6:00 pm – Sunset in the park
8:00 pm – Star Gazing, s’mores at airbnb
