New Hampshire
Franconia Notch. The Kancamagus Highway. The White Mountains. You literally cannot go wrong. Best color? Late Sept to mid Oct.
Vermont
Rolling hills, sugar maples, cozy cabins. This place is a fall fairytale. Plus: hot cider donuts. Enough said.
Upstate New York
The Adirondacks and Finger Lakes bring big color and that lakeside romance. Early to mid October is peak.
Great Lakes Region (Minnesota + Michigan)
Lakefront magic + bright forests = fall goals. Michigan’s UP and Minnesota’s North Shore are both full of hidden overlooks.
Wisconsin (Along the Mississippi River)
Think bluff views, winding backroads, and sleepy small towns. A perfect mix of adventure + quiet.
Colorado
Alpine lakes. Yellow aspens. That signature crisp air. Just remember: you’ll need to prep for weather shifts and elevation.
