My recent styled shoot, aptly titled the “Bright Retro Elopement,” is a bold, colorful foray into the world of micro weddings that goes against every misconception you’ve ever had about downsizing your big day.
What’s a Micro Wedding Anyway?
Micro weddings are intimate affairs typically hosting around 10-25 guests. But don’t mistake the term ‘micro’ for meaning minimal when it comes to details, décor, or emotion! These celebrations are jam-packed with personal touches and meaningful moments that radiate more brightness than a midsummer’s day – even if it’s about to downpour, as was the case in our shoot!
Why Go Micro?
There are lots of reasons to opt for a micro wedding: budget-friendly options, ease of planning, and more quality time with your guests, just to name a few. With fewer numbers, you also have greater flexibility in venue choices – imagine getting hitched in your favorite café, a cozy cabin, or even an art gallery.
