How freakin’ adorable are these two! Chrissha and Duane wanted an intimate and romantic engagement session in Connecticut – so what better place to go than Eolia Mansion in Harkness State Park?? We were surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful architecture… okay, I’m already dying to go back. Read through the blog to hear all about it!!
Connecticut Engagement Session at Eolia Mansion in Harkness State Park
This was the first time Chrissha and Duana had gotten professional photos done, so needless to say I was honored they chose me for the job. For never having photos taken before, they did such an awesome job of communicating what they wanted and trusting me completely! They wanted candid, romantic, and carefree engagement photos and had full faith in me to create the perfect experience for them. There was no overstepping on their end – just two people in love giving me creative control to direct and let me their cute, genuine selves in front of the camera. I could not have asked for a better time!
At the beginning of their session, they were a little nervous but equally as excited. As we roamed around Eolia Mansion/Harkness State Park, we got those fun and romantic photos they were hoping for. We even had an outfit change before heading to the coastal area, and they brought these beautiful white roses to use for the photos… which was totally their idea, btw. I could sit here and keep blabbing about how amazing their session was, but take it from Chrissha herself:
“I met Jamie at a friends wedding while she was the photographer. I knew instantly when I had the opportunity to book her for my engagement session I had to jump on it!!!!! My fiancé and I had never taken any type of professional photos before so we were a little unsure of the “process” but trusted Jamie 100 percent. Not only does she communicate from the first second you reach out but she basically holds your hand through the entire process. From emails about how to style yourself to execute certain visions to the day of where she makes you feel so comfortable and more importantly she makes you feel like you. My fiancé was so impressed as well. As far as our pictures amazing would be an understatement. She captured exactly how I wanted to look and feel at such a special time in our lives. If you’re thinking of booking Jaime, DO IT!! She will legit just get you!”
