Not only are Bailey and Derek like, my favorite couple ever, but they hired me to shoot their elopement in Hawaii AND their insanely sweet and cozy in-home session. I’ve gotten to know these two and their little family so well and I’m so excited for this fun new chapter in their lives!! Bailey and Derek’s In-Home Couples Photos
Bailey and Derek wanted to celebrate selling their first home together, and what better way to do that than by having THE sweetest and coziest photos taken?? This was a huge step for them and they expressed wanting to remember their first house together when they got married. They valued every single milestone in their relationship and of coursssse wanted documentation of this one! They hit me up and asked if I could come over and document them doing what they love most – spending quality time together in their home (with their cats, Holly and Harriett, who oh my quad were so cute).
They wanted to have their in-home session right before they left for Hawaii to get married and start the next step in their lives and careers. It was a super laidback and casual session (my favorite); they didn’t want any crazy posing or wild prompts. They just wanted to talk about the memories and favorite moments they’ve had living in their first house and how freakin’ excited they were to GET MARRIED IN HAWAII.
I had the best time hanging with these two, and they were even totally chill with me bringing my spawn (my son, Mercer) to our shoot, who also had a great time playing with Holly and Harriett. All around the vibes were 12/10.
