It’s finally time to share Reagan and Forrest’s Ledges State Park engagement session on the blog! I can’t believe I haven’t shared these two already – these are legit some of my favorite engagement photos I’ve ever taken. Ledges State Park Engagement Photos in Iowa
As you might already know, I’m a wedding and engagement photographer based out of Iowa who LOVES to travel all over the Midwest + beyond for weirdos in love. As much as I love to travel, I also love exploring my current home state and hanging out with couples like Reagan and Forrest to celebrate their engagement!!
These two are the definition of “the outdoorsy type” and have such a passion for adventure. We wanted to showcase those qualities in their engagement session, which is how we ended up at Ledges State Park. They’re such carefree, spur-of-the-moment people and I feel like that’s exactly the essence I ended up capturing in their engagement photos!
Speaking of… images like these are the exact kind that I freakin’ love creating. Just you and your partner being yourselves, being in love, and looking like you don’t have a care in the damn world. After I delivered their photos, Reagan even made a note that she even loved the images she thought she wouldn’t just because they showcased her loving life with Forrest. Ummm, how cute???
We seriously had the best time hanging out together at Ledges State Park. We were able to explore lots of different locations within the park in a short amount of time and get some super cool photos!! They looked SO cute with their casual (yet stylish) outfits and even had a few outfit changes to switch it up. Couples, take notes!
Iowa certainly showed up for us that night… It was legit one of the best sunsets everrrrrr. Definitely the prettiest one I had seen that fall. Plus, it was the perfect balance between not too hot and not too cold, a combo that Iowa only gets for like two weeks out of the whole year. Needless to say, we were all so happy with literally everything about this session!
