I’m a big fan of botanical gardens for wedding photos, I mean specially in a state like Iowa where Winter comes quick and sometimes you just need to feel that humidity only tropical plants can provide.

Today’s post is full of photos from Reanna + Cameron’s wedding day!! They wed on November 16, 2019 in Des Moines, Iowa at the Botanical Gardens! We then went over to the Taproom to cheers with the good beers!

They also were the wrap to our 2019 wedding season! HOLY QUADS I JUST TYPED THAT.

Their day was … warm? Yes, because it was in the botanical garden! 😉

Being around them both just made you excited, and happy all at the same time.

Cam’s curls were perfectly bouncy, Reanna’s dress floated among the plants, and her hand held fan kept her cool all day.

The garden was truly the best setting, and then heading to the Tap Room! The Tap Room has all the twinkly lights, and intimate set up that makes it possible to mingle with all your guests.

I’m so happy you two chose us to help start off your marriage! Thank you so much!!

Wedding Timeline: Des Moines Winter Wedding

When you get married in Iowa in the winter the sun does set early (Like 4 pm) so I always take into account what my couples want to do — and to give them the photos they dream of.

That may mean doing sunset portraits early, or getting wild with the flash later on!
