If you want to propose to your partner in 2026 then keep reading! I’m going to break down how I can help you plan for a proposal photography session with me in Washington.

Define: marriage proposal photographer
Photographer that will help you plan and photograph when you propose marriage to your partner and capture their reaction to saying yes to you!

A marriage proposal photographer will typically help you with these things..

They want to be just as prepared as you, so don’t stress if you are unsure how to even start. The best thing you can do is tell us everything you know about your partner.

Give them all your details

Besides just knowing your names, I want to know if you want more privacy, or if you have a planner helping with a full set up where you will walk up on.

Share a photo of you two

This is especially helpful if we wont have a chance to meet prior to you proposing. If you’re not local to the area, or just so we know who we’re looking out for.

Think of it has the best game of guess who for us!

Express any ideas you or your partner have mentioned in passing

If they have a Pinterest board or have said anything along the lines of loving say Mt Baker at Artist point, then we can tailor the location ideas even further for you both.

Planning and after you propose

Afterwards I don’t like to rush you, I want you two to be able to take in the moment and talk! While I am photographing, my approach with clients is not to turn everything into something that “insta needs to eat”.

We will take some portraits (as long as you both want to) and for me I turn these sessions around in 48 hours so you can easily share with family & friends.
