What makes me different as a Washington Wedding Photographer?

Honestly, it’s how much I truly care about my clients. Each one I want to make sure your top priorities are met, and you have the amount of support you need.

Some clients love to keep in touch as much as possible (love that, send me all the texts while you’re planning)!

Other clients want to hire me through their planner and know I am going to show up, be personal, professional, and handle it. The timelines met, the delivery on time, and the album designed to perfection.

Washington Wedding Photographer: My organization is top notch

Throughout my business I have touch points to make sure no client misses a step. From timeline chats to family photo list chats. I don’t want you to be like, is my photographer legit? Are they going to show up? Will they deliver my photos?

All valid fears when you’re engaged, but you don’t have to worry about them with me.

Each client I have my workflow to make sure I know where you are at in your planning process, when I can expect any check ins from your planner or vendor team, and when I need to reach out to you to make sure I have all the dates, times, and addresses. My goal is follow up with you, not have you chase me.

My biggest flex is remembering your Family & Friends names

Call it my autism hyper fixation, but I truly want to be there for your family & friends. I hate when someone just comes in coldly and tries to place me in a photo. I want you family, friends, and guests to feel welcomed in front of the camera, and that starts with me just talking to them.

How I Organize family formal photos

It starts during the planning stage, yes a questionnaire, and a zoom call, but it’s not long (about 20-30 minutes 3ish months before your date).

In the questionnaire I’m able to figure out who will be there, and their names. From there we talk through any dynamics or sensitive situations on your final timeline check in.

The family shot list then becomes my homework. I want to walk in and be able to ask for your friends, parents, anyone close to you by name. Once I do get names to faces, I am very good at remembering them. It’s my party trick, but it comes from caring, I promise.

During the actual family photos I start with our list, and if we want to add (or subtract) in the moment we can. I typically ask for 45-60 seconds per grouping.

Whether it’s a micro wedding or around 100 guests, I’m in!

I love micro weddings and intimate 75-100 guest outdoor heavy (think winery and indoor / outdoor venues along the Hood River) weddings. With me I want my couples, and their planners, to feel confident in how I pose, direct, and deliver your final images.

So if you’re ready to talk more about your coverage goals, I’m an email away.

My calendar is limited to 15 max weddings per year, so reach out as soon as you have your date & venue locked in.
